Many of us have started trying to lead a more sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle and there are lots of small swaps we can start making to make to cut down on our the waste we produce that goes to landfill. I recently reviewed some reusable make-up pads from Eco Panda and they have very kindly gifted me a second to give away to one lucky reader.
What do you use to remove your make-up at the end of the day?

I must admit that I tend to use wet wipes – with a toddler around we seem to have a packet in every room and it’s an easy fix at the end of a long and busy day. But I do feel guilty every time I do it. I’ve been using a reusable coffe cup and water bottle for years, and have finally persuaded my husband to give up buying plastic bottles of water and use a refillable steel bottle instead.
Always I save water, I have a water meter I collect rain water to water my garden
Swapped to a cafetière from coffee pods
Buying loose fruit and veg and not using a plastic bag
I use bees wax wraps instead of cling film and tin foil
Using a reusable water bottle
I’ve swapped shower gel for bar soap. Love it – works so well, really economical and no plastic!
Swapping a plastic toothbrush for a bamboo toothbrush.
I use crocheted wash cloths
My favourite has been our bamboo straws and toothbrushes, Ive always used reusable nappies for my children (we have 7) and plan to use them again for our new baby due in 3 weeks,
I think my favourite is these pads. I didn’t even know they existed. I think this is a game changer.

Buying local and refillable wherever possible
I always use my water bottle and good old tap water no plastic bottles for me
Reusable nappies
Bamboo drinking straws were our first change and we just love them! We take them our with us and at home.
Using coconut scrub pads instead of plastic foam scourers for washing up. They are great! Wouldn’t swap back!
