Is A Center Parcs Spa Day Worth The Money?

I’m a big fan of Center Parcs. I’ve been there on several family holidays and also had my (very subdued) hen party there in 2016. I’ve visited the Aqua Sana Spa on all of these trips and hope with this post hope to explain whether or not I think a Center Parcs spa day is worth the money.

We all know how expensive a trip to Center Parcs can be. Even if you’ve managed to bag yourself a bargain mid-week mid-winter (definitely the cheapest time to go) break, it’s the cost of everything else that can add up pretty quickly, especially the various activities offered by Center Parcs.

However, one activity I’m always willing to splurge on is a Center Parcs Spa day.

Is A Center Parcs Spa Day Worth The Money?

I’ll admit to being rather partial to a nice Sp Day and have been to a fair few different spas in my local area. Aqua Sana at Longleat Forest Center Parcs is by far the best Spa I’ve been to. It has a huge range of rooms for calming activities and relaxation.

My personal favourite is the Greek herbal bath, which for me has just the right level of heat and scent. As there are so many rooms with varying levels of heat and humidity it’s really easy to find something that suits your tastes. It’s also quite fun wandering around the spa and trying them all out.

Most other Spas I’ve been to don’t have anything like this amount of choice – usually offering one steam room, one sauna and a hot tub and maybe a swimming pool if you’re lucky.

There are also demonstrations throughout the day where you can sample different products used by the Spa.

It doesn’t have to be a whole day While I’ve used the term ‘Spa Day’ in this post it doesn’t have to be a whole day – Center Parcs offer lots of options from half a day with lunch to a three-hour evening session.

Honestly, if you can afford it then it’s money well spent.

In my opinion, a Center Parcs Spa day is definitely worth the money as it offers a huge range of spa experiences even if you don’t want to have a treatment such as a massage.

Can You Use Aqua Sana When Not Staying At Center Parcs?

Even if you’re not staying onsite with Center Parcs, you can still book an Aqua Sana Spa day.

As a guest of the spa, you can check out all of Center Parcs facilities apart from the tropical swimming paradise.

Perfect if you’d like to try the spa but aren’t planning a Center Parcs holiday any time soon! This is also a great option if you live locally and want to give the facilities a try but would rather holiday a bit farther away from home.

How Much Is A Center Parcs Spa Day For Two?

Prices will vary depending on the day you choose (weekends are more expensive) but to give you and idea a Twilight Spa session for two starts at £139 and a full-day Spa session for two starts from £258.

Can You Buy A Center Parcs Spa Day Voucher?

Yes, you can purchase a Spa gift voucher from the Aqua Sana website.

Tips For Booking An Aqua Sana Center Parcs Spa Day

  • Book your spa day as early as possible to make sure your session is most suited to you. While the spa isn’t small they still limit the number of people allowed during each time slot. The Aqua Sana website does give an indication of the number of sessions left when you book.
  • If you book a massage or any other treatment on its own, Spa entry isn’t included and will need to be booked separately. The cheapest spa package currently offered is around £70 per person for three hours.
  • Consider how long you really need – I love a spa session but I don’t think I could do a whole day – a half day would be more than enough for me!
  • Be mindful of booking Aqua Sana Spa treatments if you’re pregnant – while some treatments do state they are not suitable during pregnancy, others are not suitable before 30 weeks of pregnancy but do not state this. It might be best to phone ahead for advice if you’re unsure.
