So, who’s started thinking about Christmas? With just under four months and as few as three paydays left until Santa’s on his way, there is definitely no time like the present to start thinking about what to get your loves ones this year. I’ve been working with Parrot Print to try out their canvases and see what I thought of them.
Review: Parrot Print Canvas
Now I have a child I find gifts featuring her cute and chubby face are the way to go when it comes to immediate family – especially those that can be tricky to buy for.
Canvasses are one of my go-to’s when it comes to gifts for lots of reasons:
- They are much more durable than a framed pictured – no need to worry that they’re too heavy for the wall fixings or that they’ll get damaged in the post.
- Canvasses are Light meaning postage costs less than sending a framed photograph.
- Canvases don’t smudge or scratch like glass and can be easily cleaned with a light dusting.
- No glare or reflections
- Doesn’t even have to be a picture – could be a favourite quote or saying.
I know the majority of us now use our phones to take pictures but probably don’t get enough of them printed out. I actually think we are far more likely to share picture on social media than we are to get around to displaying them in our homes!
Parrot Print Canvas
One thing I loved about using Parrot Print was how easy it was to upload my image and order my canvas print. They have a super simple five-step process which makes choosing your canvas size and customizations really easy.
Firstly you upload your image – which can be done straight from your phone. Next, you choose the format you’d like (Portrait, Landscape or Square) and then select the size you’d like. These are priced so you can see exactly how much you’ll be paying.

The final steps are to crop your image if there are any areas you’d like left out and then choose the border. The options for this are black, white or image wrap. I went for black on mine as I felt that’s what would go best with the room it’s being displayed in.
One of the photos I initially tried to use wasn’t good enough quality which the website alerted me to, as obviously, I would far rather they did this than have my print turn out badly. So I chose a better quality image and everything went through fine.
My canvas print was delivered the next day and I’m really pleased with it. The quality is fab and the colours are really bright and clear. I chose a picture of my daughter on a day out with her grandparents.

Free Next Day Delivery
Parrot Print provide FREE next-day delivery within the mainland UK when you spend £20 meaning a canvas from them is a perfect last-minute gift.

I love my canvas from Parrot Print and they are worth considering for your gifting needs at any time of year.
