OnePoll Reviews: Making Money With Surveys

Let’s be honest, we all know we’re not going to get rich from doing Surveys. Some survey websites do pay considerably more than others (Prolific Academic being a favourite of mine) but it’s certainly not going to earn us a fortune. In this post, I’ve put together some Onepoll reviews: both my own experience of using them and the experiences of some other money bloggers.

However, there are some occasions where even the smallest amount of cash coming in better than none at all. And it does all add up at the end of the day. So while it may not be the most lucrative way to earn money, it’s one of those little things I like to have ticking along in the background.

I've put together some Onepoll reviews: both my own experience of using them and the experiences of some other money bloggers.

Typically the surveys are very low paid – between 10p and 50p each, I usually find. However, these small amounts do add up over time. You can also refer up to 15 friends on Onepoll and will be paid once they hit their first payout.

Payments from Onepoll can take up 28 days to hit your account.

Onepoll Reviews

There are lots of things I actually really like about Onepoll surveys despite the paying being fairly low. I typically fill on the surveys on the app from my phone.

I don’t seem to get screened out very often – maybe one in ten surveys which means much less time wasted than on other survey sites.
Surveys are usually very quick and easy to complete so it’s easy to do them around my toddler.
Most surveys only take two or three minutes.
Quick surveys are ideal for doing in front of the television.
Onepoll has an app so you can do surveys from your phone when you have a spare few minutes
You can refer up to 15 friends to earn extra rewards.

Onepoll Surveys payout once you reach £25 and it can take a few months to reach this. However, I know lots of people that do surveys use several different websites at once so this could be another small option to add to a range of income streams.

I asked some of my fellow money bloggers what they thought of Onepoll and the Onepoll app as it’s the sort of thing everyone will have a different experience with. Here’s what they said:

Lauren Turner from www.britonabudget.co.uk says: ‘I’ve used Onepoll for around a year now and I have reached the cashout threshold once. Now I’m lucky if I get one survey a week that earns me about 10p, I definitely think you’ve got to put a LOT of effort into it to get something back out’

Pete Chatfield from www.householdmoneysaving.com says ‘I love it and earn around £20 per month. Mainly in between shuttling the kids around to their clubs’

Collette Jones from www.cashbackcollette.co.uk says ‘I’ve been using it on and off for about 10 months now and have yet to cashout. The £2.50 bonus for signing up is a good incentive and helpful starting point but there are other survey sites that pay more per survey and don’t have such a high payment threshold, like Prolific’

Laura Dempster of Thriftylondoner.com ‘I used to use OnePoll for doing quick surveys whilst waiting for the bus. I did this for about a year and never reached the cash-out limit and gave up!’

I think I’ve been trying to cash out since 2015 without success 😩their cash out level is so high, the surveys are so few and far between and pay a pittance. While overall other people’s experiences don’t seem to have been particularly positive, how many surveys you’ll get will depend on your demographics and how often you’re able to sit down and check the app.

I do find I am able to do more surveys during that day as I’m home with my daughter, whereas there are generally fewer available in the evening as there are more people available to do them.
