High Paying Surveys – Best In The U.K

Survey sites get a bit of a bad rep for paying very little for a lot of effort. However, there is one site that pays much better than the others. Read on to discover the U.Ks’s best high-paying survey website.

Before we get started, I want to make it clear that Survey Sites are never going to make you rich. Yes, they’re great for earning some extra cash on the side but they often don’t pay anything close to minimum wage so it can take a long to actually earn anything decent.

High Paying Surveys: Which Is The Best High Paying Survey Website In The U.K?

However, there is one site that pays substantially more than the rest and can definitely be considered to have the U.K’s best high-paying surveys

Is It Worth Doing Online Surveys?

As mentioned above, survey sites often pay very little for the time and effort required to earn points and cash out with them. Some even have ridiculously high cash-out thresholds on top – One Poll, for example, you need to reach £40 for your first payment and then £25 for each subsequent withdrawal.

Another common complaint is that you often get screened out of surveys. While companies supposedly do the best they can to make sure any surveys you are sent are a good fit for you this isn’t always the case and it often takes three or four minutes to get this point – again it can be extremely frustrating when already the rewards for your time are pretty low.

All of the above considered it might seem like survey sites simply aren’t worth it – but there are some upsides too.

Many of the sites come with apps which makes them perfect for doing while chilling in front of the T.V on an evening. They can also be done at any time of day so if you have limited free time to earn extra cash you can jump in and out as you see fit. If you’re able to cash out but keep the money separate they could be an excellent way to pay for Christmas.

Here’s a list of a few of the Survey Sites I use when I’m Chilling and not really doing much else

Which Site Has The U.K’s Best High Paying Surveys?

There is one survey site that is different from all the rest though. The pay is usually around minimum wage and the surveys are generally pretty interesting.

And the best bit? You NEVER get screened out. They only offer surveys that you are actually eligible for.

The name of this site?

PROLIFIC ACADEMIC.

A little bit more about Prolific Academic The U.K’s Best High Paying Surveys Site

Researchers use Prolific Academic to collect and collate data for various projects and also by those studying for statistics needed for completing university courses or dissertations.

Essentially Prolific Academic is a Crowdsourcing Platform Designed for Scientific Research, which in turn makes the majority of the surveys really interesting. If you find you start a survey and for whatever reason, you don’t want to continue with it you can withdraw at any time.

It’s also really easy to raise a claim if you have any issues with a survey – when I was unable to complete a survey due to an error with the site I was still paid for the time I had already taken.

You can cash out at just £5 (with fees) but I usually wait until I’ve accumulated £20 to avoid the fees eating into my earnings. This can be done by using the Circle app where withdrawals are free over £20.

PayPal cashouts are charged PayPal’s 2.9% + 20p fee. Personally, I’ve never had a problem getting paid from Prolific and as they surveys pay so well it really doesn’t take long to build up the £20 over and over.

Prolific Academic makes for a great side hustle and an easy and interesting way to make some extra money.

Don’t forget that if you do decide to give it a go you will need to register with HMRC and declare an additional income to them. It may sound scary but it’s really not worth the risk of not declaring it.

That said, if you earn less than £1000 in additional income over the course of a year you don’t need to declare it as it falls under the hobby allowence.
