How To Find Lidl Vouchers & Save Money With Lidl Plus

Want to save even more money when shopping at Lidl? Lidl is already one of the cheapest supermarkets in the UK, but there are several ways you can make your money go even further.
The easiest way to get extra savings is through the Lidl Plus app, where you’ll find personalised coupons, weekly offers and rewards.
Here are the Lidl vouchers and app savings worth knowing about.
How To Find Lidl Vouchers
The best place to find Lidl vouchers is in the Lidl Plus app. Once you’ve downloaded the app and signed up, you can start making savings.
Unlike a traditional supermarket loyalty card, you don’t collect points to get money off your shopping in the usual way.
However, Lidl Plus does now has its own points system, as well as personalised coupons and other offers.
You’ll need to scan your Lidl Plus app at the till when you shop to access your discounts and collect points – much in the same way you would with a Nectar card.
1. Lidl Plus Personalised Coupons
Open the Lidl Plus app before you shop and check the Coupons section.
Lidl offers personalised coupons based on the things you buy, so you may find discounts on products you regularly purchase. I’ve found these can be particularly useful for things we buy regularly like pasta, ketchup and items from the Lidl Bakery.
You’ll need to activate any coupons you want to use before scanning your Lidl Plus app at the till.
Lidl says it also regularly adds new exclusive offers to the app, so it’s worth checking before each shop.
2. Lidl Plus Points
Lidl Plus Points replaced Coupon Plus in May 2026, so if you’ve used the Lidl Plus app in the past, this works a little differently from the old system.
You now earn 1 Lidl Plus Point for every £1 you spend when you scan the app at the checkout. Lidl rounds up spending under £1, so even a spend of less than £1 earns one point.
You can then exchange your points in the Rewards Marketplace for rewards, including free products and money-off coupons.
Your points don’t expire straight away either. Lidl says they remain valid for 24 months after they’re made available to your account.
It’s worth checking the app for extra points promotions, too, as Lidl occasionally runs campaigns where you can earn additional points.
3. Look Out For Lidl Plus Promotions
Lidl regularly runs temporary promotions through the Lidl Plus app.
These can include money-off coupons, free products, prize draws and other rewards. What is available changes, so there’s no point me listing specific promotions here that could disappear a few weeks later.
Instead, check the app regularly to see what’s currently available.
For example, Lidl has previously run scratch-card promotions where shoppers could receive digital coupons after shopping.
We recently had random £10 off vocher, which wasn’t tied to the points system.
4. Check The Lidl Plus Offers Each Week
It’s worth checking the Lidl Plus app before you shop as there are new in-app offers each week.
These are separate from your personalised coupons and can give you discounts on selected products. Lidl currently advertises these as weekly Lidl Plus offers.
5. Don’t Forget About Other Lidl Plus Rewards
The app isn’t only useful for discounts on your food shop.
Lidl also has partner offers available through Lidl Plus, which can include discounts and promotions from other companies. These change regularly, so it’s worth checking the app if you’re already a Lidl Plus user.
More Ways To Save Money At Lidl
Lidl Plus isn’t the only way to save money on your Lidl shop. Here are some other things worth looking out for.
Look Out For The £2 Wonky Fruit & Veg Boxes
Lidl’s wonky fruit and vegetable boxes contain around 5kg of produce for £2.
The contents vary, and you may find fruit and vegetables that are slightly imperfect or approaching their best-before date, but they’re a great way to get a large amount of fresh produce for less.
They’re usually found towards the back of the store, but they can sell quickly so you may not find one every time you shop.
Shop The Lidl Reduced Section
Lidl reduces fresh food just like other supermarkets. I’ve found late Friday afternoon to be a particularly good time to look, although this will vary between stores.
I’ve previously picked up things such as 5% fat minced beef reduced from £2.99 to just 90p.
You’ll find reduced products in different parts of the store, including meat and fish, fruit and vegetables and other chilled products.
Pick Up A Lidl Leaflet
I like to pick up a Lidl leaflet when I leave the store so I can see what offers are coming up the following week, although these can now also be found in the app.
This can help you plan meals around cheaper ingredients rather than deciding what to buy once you’re already in the shop.
Compare Prices
Don’t automatically assume that Lidl is the cheapest place to buy everything.
It’s worth comparing prices, particularly on larger purchases or when you’re tempted to make a special trip for an offer.
Look Out For Newspaper Vouchers
Lidl has previously offered conditional spend vouchers through national newspapers, such as money off when you spend a certain amount.
These have become much less common since Lidl Plus became the main way to access digital savings, so I wouldn’t rely on them.
However, it’s worth keeping an eye out for them if you’re a regular Lidl shopper.
