If you have a glut of leftovers from Christmas fear not! This post brings you 40+ recipes for using them up and making sure you don’t waste a scrap of food this Christmas.

It is so easy to buy too much food at Christmas. I think we all overestimate how much people will eat and have a huge fear of either not having enough food for everyone or running out of things.

This leads to most households having a huge amount of leftover food (and sometimes even drink too!). Lots of food ends up getting thrown out simply because people don’t know what to do with it – or they leave it too long and it ends up going off at the back of the fridge.

Here are my Christmas leftover recipes from lots of lovely bloggers who like to avoid food waste as much as I do.

Don’t forget dishes can be made now and frozen down – perfect if you think you might end up feeling the pinch come January. Take a look at my post for making the most of your freezer space if you need to squeeze in as much as possible.

While most people do cook a roast on Christmas day the content can vary hugely between Turkey, Beef, Lamb or even Venison, some love sprouts, some hate them some spend hours making gravy from stock, and others use Bisto.

Again, it’s so easy to buy and cook far more veggies than we actually need. And last week the supermarkets massively dropped the prices of many of their vegetables in the run-up to Christmas meaning it was easy to stock up on these for next to nothing (see my post about it here!)
