If you need a Luxury Food Hamper this Christmas the look no further than Hampers.com
Recently I was lucky enough to be asked to review a hamper of my choice from Hampers.com.
I spent a happy half an hour on their website browsing the huge range of hampers on offer and trying to decide which one to try. There are certainly a lot to choose from – with themes including ‘For Mum’ ‘Chocolate’ ‘Cheese and Wine’ and ‘Prosecco Pineapple for her’.
There is also a hamper to suit every budget with simple chocolate truffle towers starting at just £20 and huge family gourmet hampers costing more than £350 – with pretty much everything you could imagine in between. The sheer volume and range means there should definitely be something to suit every taste – there’s even a ‘create your own option’
Why I Choose the Luxury Gourmet Food Hamper
After much browsing and deliberating I eventually chose the Luxury Gourmet Food Hamper.

I wanted to choose a hamper that was full of food we would actually eat – so no mince pies and no Christmas cake! I didn’t want anything ending up sitting at the back of the cupboard for months after Christmas, I wanted food we could get excited about enjoying.
Being pregnant over this festive season means I’ll be missing out on some of my favourite Christmas treats, such as wine, pate, and cured meats – so I was keen to also choose a hamper that didn’t include any of these. The Hampers.com website has an option to search for hampers with no alcohol which made filtering really easy.
What I loved about the Luxury Gourmet Food Hamper
I loved that I actually liked every single item in this hamper – it was great to find a food hamper that didn’t include Christmas Cake or Mince Pies and was full of food we really liked and would genuinely use. As well as what I would consider ‘Treat’ items such as truffles, sweets and fudge there are some really nice store cupboard staples that I can imagine using over the festive period.
The Jams and Marmalade included will be perfect for Christmas Day breakfast – we usually have croissants but I wouldn’t necessarily think to buy anything special to go with them. It’s also nice to add a touch of luxury to Christmas morning with the individually wrapped teabags.
I also liked that there were lots of familiar brands – being on budget we tend to buy supermarket own brand products so having these products in the food hamper really did give it a luxury feel. Brands included are Mrs Bridges, Baxters, Mackays, princes and Elizabeth Shaw.
Tins of soup are perfect for those in between days where you’re craving something simple to eat after the Christmas indulgence. Again the olives and rosemary biscuits would be perfect as part of a simple festive supper.
Our favourite products included the caramel and chocolate fudge pieces and Grandma Wilds crunchy cookies, both of which were delicious and won’t be making it to Christmas!
Does it offer good value for Money?
Yes and No.
It would definitely be possible to source the majority of these item for less money yourself. What you are without a doubt paying for here is convenience. With the hustle and bustle of Christmas I know that many people are more than happy to pay a little bit more to take away some of the stress and that is exactly what is on offer here. It’s also a great option for those pesky last minute ‘oh god I forgot Auntie so and so’ situations.
Hampers can be sent directly to the recipient and include (depending on hamper chosen)
- Free UK Delivery | Next Day & Named Day Also Available
- Free Personal Gift Message Included
- Lovingly Hand Packed
- Email Alert When Your Recipient Receives Their Hamper
All in all, I enjoyed my hamper and while generally speaking, I would probably stick with the cost-effectiveness of making my own in the future, this is perfect for convenience, ease and not having to lug heavy boxes to the post office. I would definitely recommend it.
Disclaimer: I was sent this hamper free of charge in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
