This post may contain Affiliate Links
Looking for thrifty Christmas gift ideas? This photo album and Free photo combo make a great budget gift. Just make sure your order everything in plenty of time for Christmas.
My lovely friend Zoe suggested this to me as a gift she was making for her nieces and it sounded lovely so I decided I would do the same.
It involves combining some cheap photo albums on Amazon with a free photo offer from Snapfish to create cute photo albums for your family and friends this Christmas. Add some extra magic by filling a couple of the photo slots with pictures your children have drawn.
Amazon Photo Albums – £2.99 with free delivery

These albums come in at just £1.50 each which includes free delivery, even if you don’t have Amazon Prime. They were a little bit cheaper when I bought them so I’m hoping the price may drop again after Christmas.
Each photo album holds 12 photographs.
Snapfish Photographs
Snapfish gives customers 40 free prints to customers each month (although in December you get extra with 50 free prints being offered) – you just need to pay £3.49 for delivery. I think nowadays we are much less inclined to get images printed out as we tend to keep them on our phones and upload them to our social media.

We still have lots of elderly relatives who like to be sent pictures at Christmas as they still don’t have much to do with the digital world.
I always order my photos through the Snapfish App – it’s really easy to upload them from your phone and you can have duplicates of any images you like within your free allocation.
What I’ve done this year is combined these two things to create a few bargain photo albums for friends and family members.

As the photo offer is for 40/50 prints and the albums only hold 12 prints, to make this the best value for money, the best thing to do is double.
Two packs of 2 photo albums comes to £5.98 then add the photos at £3.49 for 40. The total is £9.47 which works out at £2.36 per gift. You can then add other pictures or letters from your children or even from yourself if there are any gaps the photos won’t fill. And of course if the price of the photo albums drops these will be cheaper.
I think these make lovely, personalised photo gifts on a budget and are perfect for giving as gifts from children to their Grandparents and Great Grandparents.
