I bloody love Domino’s Pizza and it’s our takeaway of choice for a monthly movie night at one of my friend’s houses.
However, it doesn’t come cheap. Especially when it’s not a Tuesday.
Once, many years ago, before I had honed my money-saving ways my now-husband rang up and ordered a Domino’s for us. A large pizza for him and a medium for me. It came to £32!
He’d forgotten to ask if there were any offers that could be applied and we didn’t have a menu to hand so he’d literally just ordered what we’d usually have. I vowed never ever to spend that much on two takeaway pizzas again!

The Ultimate Guide To Getting Cheap Dominos Pizza
There are always offers on Domino’s so there is no need to ever pay full price. But it can be tricky to figure out which offer is best and which represents the best value for money.
You then need to figure out whether it’s cheaper to collect from the store or have it delivered.
Order Via The Dominos App
Domino’s Pizza usually has loads of offers and sometimes it can be tricky to pinpoint which one will save you the most money. Ordering via the app gives you a chance to see all the offers and figure out which works best for you.
How To Get Cheap Dominos Pizza: Order Dominos Pizza Online
I usually order Dominos Pizza online as this gives me the chance to play around with the offers and see which deal is going to save me the most money.
It also gives me the opportunity to order via a cashback site such as Top Cashback or Quidco and earn a little bit of cashback on my order too.
Dominos Pizza Student Discounts
You’ll be pleased to know that Dominos Pizza does offer a student discount, although do bear in mind offers can’t be stacked, so using a different offer might save you more money.
Currently, the offer is 35% off a £25 spend.
This is available to anyone with a Unidays or Student Beans account.
Collection From Dominos Pizza Is Always Cheaper
If you’re looking for cheap dominos pizza, opting for collection rather than delivery could well save you some cash. Collection offers often better value or much cheaper than delivery offers, especially as Dominos has recently introduced a £1.99 delivery charge.
My local Domino’s often has Buy One Get One Free on Collection only, which I am happy to do if represents a substantial saving compared to other offers and saves me the delivery charge too.

Domino’s Pizza NHS / Blue Light Discount
Dominos Pizza offers an NHS discount, simply collect your order in person and show your NHS I.D to claim your discount. This discount is usually 50% off your order but may vary from store to store as many Dominos Pizzas are franchised.
The same goes for Blue Light Card holders (which are available to a range of people in public service jobs, including the Police and care workers) – 50% off is available when collecting from the store and showing your Blue Light Card.
Remember That 50% Off Is Usually Better Than Buy One Get One Free
When faced with lots of different offers it can be tricky to figure out which is the best deal. Although 50% off and BOGOF sound like they are the same, 50% off is usually better. Especially if you are buying pizzas of varying prices and sizes. This is because when buying Buy One Get One Free you always pay for the more expensive pizza.
Example.
1x Medium Pepperoni Passion £16.50
1X Medium Cheese & Tomato £11.99
Buy one get one free would cost £16.50
50% off would cost £14.25
You could then save a further £1.00 by Ordering cheese and Tomato with double pepperoni instead of Pepperoni Passion.
Total Saving – £3.25
Ok, so I know £3.25 isn’t a huge saving but if you have Domino’s once a month that’s almost £40 over a year saved.
How To Get Cheap Dominos Pizza: Order At Lunchtime
If you’re ordering at lunchtime or even late afternoon, there could be some offers that are only available until 5 pm.
Opt-In For Marketing Texts From Dominos Pizza
I have done this and usually get about one text a week with an offer exclusive to my local store. It’s usually a code for 20% – 50% off or a conditional spend voucher.
How To Make Your Own Dominos Cookies
Love Dominos Cookies?
Why not try making them yourself at home to save even more cash? This is the most popular post I have ever written and honestly, they taste just like the real thing! Find the recipe here >>>> How To Make Domino’s Cookies Recipe.
Could Papa John’s Pizza Be Cheaper?
We live just around the corner from a Papa John’s pizza on average I’d say their deals tend to beat Dominos by a few pounds. We also find their pizza to be a bit less greasy too. Always worth checking prices if you have both a Dominos and Papa Johns Pizza nearby.
Papa John’s also has a free rewards system when you register and order online where you can earn free pizza and sides. Plus if ordering online you will be emailed a short survey after your delivery and if you fill it out you’ll get a voucher for free garlic bread sticks.

Can You Freeze Leftover Dominos Pizza?
It really easy to over-order Dominos’s, especially if you’re on your own and it’s Two for Tuesday.
I know a lot of people like to have leftovers for breakfast the next day and that’s fine. But personally, I can’t stomach it!
I prefer to freeze the leftovers and have a quick and easy tea ready for another night.
Don’t forget, if you plan to eat leftovers, they need to go in the fridge overnight!
You could also try reheating Dominos Pizza in the air fryer!
