Thrifty Recipes
Welcome to the recipes section of my blog. I’m actually a chef by trade, so consider myself a fairly decent cook!
Here I share some of my favourite recipes – mostly thrifty, using yellow stickers or with just one or two ingredients.
This page acts as a quick rundown of my recipes so they are nice and easy to find – no scrolling back through lots of blog pages, just click the link you want to take a look at.
When it comes to cooking, I like to reduce the cost of my ingredients by buying supermarket basics, using yellow sticker items and using coupons.
Some of the recipes you’ll find below use ingredients that would usually be thrown in the bin such as the skins from potatoes.
